Blackfeet tipi
Saint Mary Visitor Center – At the visitor center, check out a full-size Blackfeet tipi, and small exhibit about Plains Indians. The visitor center has “Tipi Talks” (history and use of a tipi) daily, junior ranger programs with short hike and hands-on activities, and evening interpretive programs with dancers and singers or legends of Glacier.
Scenic boat rides - Saint Mary Lake is a long turquoise lake, surrounded by dramatic reddish mountains. June to September, take a one and a half house cruise on the lake, especially beautiful at sunset.
Sun Point Nature trail – A short easy hike, 1.3 miles round trip, along the lake and through the woods to Baring Falls. Bring a picnic.
