Kenai Fjords cruise

Kenai Fjords National Park Cruise– A boat cruise to see the glaciers in Kenai Fjords National Park is a good deal. Not only are there spectacular tidewater glaciers with massive hunks of ice falling into the water ("calving"), but also an abundance of marine life. Kids can see orca whales slicing through the water, tufted puffins bobbing like little tug boats, humpback whales breaching, sea otters floating on their backs, and sea lions lolling on the rocks.

Cruises are all day tours, 6 - 8 hours.

Alaska SeaLife Center – Learn about the marine life of Alaska – there are tanks with Steller sea lions, Bering Sea fishes, Pacific giant octopus and squid, Alaska king crab, sea otter and puffin habitats, touch pools with oodles of colorful starfish, sea anemones and sea urchins.

After you've visited the SeaLife Center, take a walk along the bike path that goes around Resurrection Bay.

Ididaride sled tog tours – The Seavey family has participated in, and won, the Iditarod sled dog race over three generations. In summer, kids can visit the kennel, meet the Iditarod sled dogs, pet husky puppies, and go for a 2 mile sled dog ride (in a wheeled) sled Call in advance for reservations.
