Travel for Kids is always changing.
It's always fun to plan your next trip, whether it's a weekend jaunt, or a long vacation. Here's our latest additions to the site.
Andalusia

Andalusia - Al-Andalus, as Andalusia was called a 1,000 years ago, was a Moorish kingdom, renowned for its scholars and libraries. As you travel through Andalusia with kids, you'll see the most beautiful Islamic-style palaces, mosques and fortresses in Granada, Cordoba and Seville. The Alhambra is the most famous, but the Alcazar in Seville is a family favorite. There are miles of sandy beaches on the Costa del Sol where families can kick back and relax, but you might also find a replica Spanish sailing ship in Malaga.

Wyoming has two fabulous national parks - Yellowstone and Grand Teton. Yellowstone has the most geysers anywhere in the world, bubbling mudpots, brilliant turquoise hot springs, rushing waterfalls, steep canyons, a huge lake and abundant wildlife; it's an amazing place. In Grand Teton, hike to rushing waterfalls, float down the river on a big rubber raft, learn to spot amazing bison, elk and moose in their natural habitat. In Jackson Hole, kids will want to go to a rodeo, ride a stagecoach, and ski all winter long.
Languedoc-Roussillon, France - Steeped in a long and ancient history, visit Roman ruins in Nimes, Carcassonne is a child's dream of a medieval walled city, and the countryside around Montepellier is a great place to relax.
Glacier National Park in Montana is one of our favorites. It's those fluffy mountain goats crossing the Continental Divide, Going-to-the-Sun Road, hiking through alpine meadows, picnicking by a lake on the roof of the world. Tip: What better way to arrive than take the train to Whitefish, with great views of Montana big sky country along the way.

Quebec has a lot to offer for familes, all the charm and history of Europe, without crossing the ocean. Kids can scramble on the stone walls around Quebec City, 400 years old. In Montreal, explore the old city, go pedal boating on the waterfront, take a cruise on the St. Lawrence River, and watch river otters and penguins playing in the Biodome. There's lots of winter activities, ice skating, sledding, and sugar shacks. And throughout Quebec province, kids will want to sample maple cones, candy and ice cream.

Washington - Travel from the northwest tip of the continental United States along rocky beaches lined with silvery driftwood, through misty rain forests, across snow covered mountain ranges on the Olympic Peninsula, take the ferries to islands in Puget Sound, ride to the top of the Space Needle in Seattle, follow in the footsteps of Lewis and Clark, explore a traditional long house, or kids may even want to look for Bigfoot.
