    Costa Del Sol
Small child the beach in Spain
The Costa del Sol (Sun Coast) has been famous forever as a beach resort. Families can kick back and relax on the sand, but there's also Moorish castles and Roman ruins to explore with the kids.
  Malaga
Torremolinos – This is the largest of the beach towns, drawing tourists from all over the world year 'round. Temperatures reach 100 degrees Fahrenheit (40° C) and there are 101 places to buy a new bathing suit or towel by the beach.  The Aquapark is a fun place for the kids (and you?) to play. Watch the displays, take a lesson, or go on a trail ride through the hills at El Ranchito Equestrian Centre.
Fuengirola – If Torremolinos is too crowded, and Marbella too ritzy, head for this little town. It has the same international feeling of those other towns, but you'll also see the local fisherman going out to sea. Tuesday is market day and this is the place where everyone along the coast comes for both local crafts and great produce. Let the kids race you around the track at the Karting Club Malaga.
Benalmadena – Not quite as crowded and somewhat prettier than Torremolinos, this is more a family oriented beach town than the others. Benalmadena's main pull is the Puerto Marina.
Sea-Life Centre (Puerto Marina) – Thirty marine displays (shark, octopi, reef life) as well as special demonstrations, open all year.

Ride the cable car (Arroyo de la Miel) – Right next to the Tivoli World amusement park is the Telecabina, a cable car that goes up the Calamorro Mountains. Great views, and on the clear day you can see to Morocco.
