Take a ride on an old-fashioned steam train, the Oregon Coast Scenic Railway. The train chugs along the coast from Garibaldi to Rockaway Beach, one and a half hour round trip. Ride in the open-air coach, or caboose, for a special treat (and extra fee) ride in the locomotive cab (kids 7 and up). Train rides are weekends, late May through September and in July and August, weekends plus Fridays and Mondays. Click here for more information. |
