Orlando is chock full of theme parks – Walt Disney World, SeaWorld, Universal Orlando – but don’t try to see them in one go. If you’re visiting for a weekend, pick one theme park and take a break in the afternoon, and go back in the evening for fireworks. For a longer holiday vacation, involve the kids in choosing which parks to visit. The Magic Kingdom is Disney classic, animal lovers will enjoy SeaWorld and Disney Animal Kingdom. Teens will find Universal Studios or Disney Hollywood especially fun. And all the parks have imaginative play areas for little kids. Tip: Orlando is quite spread out, and you’ll want a car to get around, unless your hotel is in the theme park you’re planning to visit. |
