 Main Beach Park – Located right in the center of town, this white sand beach has a large children's playground, grassy areas, restrooms and showers, lifeguards in summer. And all year round this is a popular spot for families. Walk north to Bird Rock (Heisler Park) and explore the tide pools. |

Aliso Beach Park – Long sandy beach that's perfect for splashing in the waves and building sand castles. There's also a playground with climbing structures and picnic tables. Walk north up the beach to Treasure Island Park to find tide pools at low tide. |

Shaw's Cove & Diver's Cove – Shaw's Cove has excellent tide pooling, where you'll see sea anemones and hermit crabs. Diver's Cove is also a good family beach for boogie boarding and swimming. |
