Wild Animal Park
Going to the Wild Animal Park is the quickest way to take an African safari. Ride the one hour Wgasa Bush Line monorail, where you'll see herds of elephants, rhinos, giraffes, zebras and antelopes. Keep your eyes peeled for the big horn sheep hopping on the rocks or and you can't miss those huge black-winged vultures with pink bald heads.

At Lorikeet Landing, buy nectar and these colorful birds will land on your hand! (Who can resist photos?) Little kids will enjoy the Petting Kraal (petting zoo) and play area. Don't miss the elephant and bird shows.
The Wild Animal Park also breeds the highly endangered California condor (chicks were originally fed with hand puppets); when the condors are big enough, they are released back into the wild. To see the condors, visit Condor Ridge.
Check out the new Discovery Station with musical instruments, puppets and animal toys, perfect for little ones. There's also a playground with the Samburu jungle gym and picnic area.

Order tickets online one week or more before you visit, and avoid racking your brain for games to play with your kids while waiting in ticket lines for the Wild Animal Park:
