CityWalk
CityWalk is Universal Studios' pedestrian walkway with 30 shops, 20 theatres and two dozen restaurants. There's always something happening on the street at CityWalk jugglers, jazz, salsa and more.
Entertainment Not all the fun and games are inside Universal Studios. At CityWalk you can go bowling (Jillian's Hi Life Lanes), rev up a virtual Race Car at the Nascar Motor Speedway, catch live performances at the Gibson Amphitheatre.
Catch a Star Well, on screen at least. The Universal Studios Cinema has 6,000 seats in its state-of-the-art 18 theatres, showing the latest movies. Want something even bigger? OK, head for the IMAX theater, with its 60 foot high screen and 3D features like"T-Rex: Back To The Cretaceous" that seems to put you right in the action.

Fountain court Need a break to just cool down? Head for the Fountain Court where mini-water geysers shoot up from under the sidewalk! On a hot day, it feels great to get splashed but even on cooler days kids can't seem to resist, so you might need a change of clothes.
    Shopping

CityWalk is a souvenir mecca and there's lots that's special to Los Angeles. Here are some shops worth visiting:

Stop "N" Play Stop "N" Play has toys and games. (Stock up on airplane and car trip travel distractions.)
Wound & Wound A shop filled with tons of wind-up toys from cute ducklings, penguins, and tortoises to ferocious sharks, octopi, and dinosaurs. Lots of silly stuff too, like "geezer" teeth, hopping eyeballs, and running noses. You'll find yourself acting like a kid again with these toys.
Upstart Crow Bookstore and Coffehouse A great stop to pick up books for kids and adults. The little coffee shop inside has snacks to munch while you browse.
