Lake Tahoe - Winter

Lake Tahoe gets many feet of snow in winter, turning it into a fabulous area for winter sports. The ski resorts offer a wide variety of kids' ski programs, from children ages 3 and up to experienced junior skiers. Skiing and snowboarding isn't the only option, there are sleigh rides, snow tubing, sledding and ice skating. And sight of the lake itself is a marvel, it never freezes over.
