Heavenly
– Heavenly ski resort typically gets more than 360 inches
of snow, and is easily accessible from South Lake. Heavenly has ski and snowboard lessons, for kids ages 3
to 15. Reserve lessons in advance. |

Heavenly Village ice rink – What could be more
fun than twirling around ice, fairy lights twinkling under a deep blue sky.
The rink opens on Halloween, and is open daily from November through the
end of the season. Skate rentals included. |

Sleigh rides – In Stateline, next to Heavenly
Village, go for a 35 min. sleigh ride in an old-fashioned European sleigh.
Blankets are provided but dress warmly. Pick up the Borges Sleigh Rides
next to Harrah's. |

Also, sleigh rides at Sand Harbor State Park on Nevada side. Rides are Fridays to Mondays, pick up sleighs Fridays to Mondays, at Sand Harbor Visitor Center. |
